Odryer in constant use

The most common complaint we hear from people that do the laundry is the fact that their tumble dryer is in constant use and one family we met had two electric dryers going every week. It is mind boggling the time and effort involved in drying clothes and energy costs in the present climate. Our Odryer is in constant use too, but we have no complaints, no running in and out, no extra cost on our energy bills, it is a no brainer way to save your energy and the earth

It's Raining It Must Be The Summer Time!

It is a miserable wet Irish summer day, clouds are down low but I am not. I am at the office taking ODRYER orders. My wonderful daughter is at home, doing a load of washing for me and hanging it out. I am disappointed about the weather but at least its not controlling when I can wash my clothes. I thank God for my inventor husband for designing and manufacturing a heaven sent essential item. I am not trapped with paying to get my clothes dried.

I have convinced my husband to set up the ODRYER at the caravan park in West Cork, so I will be able to get my clothes dry even when it rains and not have to waste holiday money and  time waiting for tumble dryers to be free.

I have better things to spend my money on than heavy electricity bills. My electricity bill averages €50.00 per month and that means I have money to save for more important things like holidays.

Another tip for those of you trying to save money, while reducing your carbon footprint, is to wash your clothes in cold water, as it washes just as well and if you live in hard water area, like us, it should lengthen life of your washing machine.

Odryer is The Business

Four weeks since I put a finger on the keyboard to up date the blog, that sounds unbelievable. Time flies at Odryer and it's great to be busy in the present climate. So for us, we are going to keep our heads down and keep pushing forward, just like the Irish scrum going for the English try line.

We were on RTE Radio 1 The Business  on Sunday the 14 th June and on that date we announced a competition to win a Free Odryer (Winner to be announced on our web page on 26 th June). This program is very positive and very worthwhile listening to with lots of positive business stories. We really are grateful for the national exposure and the recognition that it provided for our company.

The Mallow Home and Garden show was a great success for the Odryer rainproof clothesline and it is always great to meet and greet people at our display stand. I think when people see the Odryer up close they can appreciate the work and thought that goes into our product. Many women just smile when they see the Odryer and know immediately that it just what they have always needed and why didn't someone think of that before. So simple isn't it. Martin

Good time for an Odryer its summer

Martin

There are several things that indicate that the summer has arrived, Swallows, noisy lawnmowers, school outings, torrential rain showers ( good time for an Odryer) , and the the best indication that summer is here is the Hurling & Football Championship. I look forward to this through our long winter and now I have  tickets for the first game of the Hurling Championship between Cork & Tipperary at Thurles.

We make this a family day out and last year's game was in Cork, we love going to Cork for the game down by the banks, a visit to the Dunlop Club after the game for the postmortem and a pint, ah yes days to savour.

The Odryer Clothesline and the Media!

Hello From Martin
Haven't  blogged before so not sure what direction all this is going to take, we want to keep our blogs and comments as honest as possible and that everyone gains some  information and has a bit of fun.
Speaking of fun we enjoyed our March media extravaganza, my first  nerve racking interview was with Tipp FM local radio. I defended the Odryer clothesline stoutly against one listener  who said that 'he could rip a piece of plastic off the silage pit and make his own clothesline'. The Business on RTE Radio 1 was also a very happy occasion and with their mentoring program we gained a valuable advisor in Michael Burke of Stira fame. Then five days later we get on to national TV  The Late Late Show on 13 th March, at this stage panic is setting in, but on the night Jeannette my right hand woman played a stormer (Aussie slang) in fact the long time presenter Pat Kenny handed in his resignation a week later, what do you think any connection?.
